HELL’S GUEST (a 55-word story)
Pirithous helped Theseus kidnap Helen, so Theseus agreed to aid Pirithous abduct Hades’ wife, Persephone, queen of the Underworld.
Hades invited both men to dinner.
In hell.
They sat on Chairs of Forgetfulness and couldn’t get up.
Hercules found them.
He tore Theseus from the Chair.
And hell shuddered.
But Pirithous is still hell’s guest.
